Other glass sealing applications where aquatic-life-safe silicone is required
ASI Aquarium Silicone Sealant - Clear - 10.2 Fluid oz Cartridge
Product Description
ASI® Aquarium Sealant is a high-performance 100% RTV silicone sealant specifically formulated for aquarium manufacturing, aquarium repair, and other applications requiring a durable, waterproof and aquatic-life-safe silicone seal.
Designed by American Sealants, Inc., this one-part silicone cures into a flexible rubber seal with excellent tensile strength, elongation and tear resistance. It provides strong adhesion to properly prepared glass surfaces without requiring a primer, making it particularly suitable for aquarium construction and repair applications.
ASI Aquarium Sealant can be used for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Once fully cured, the silicone forms a durable waterproof seal designed to withstand continuous water exposure while remaining flexible and resistant to degradation and yellowing.
Its thick, non-slump consistency allows the sealant to remain in place when applied to vertical surfaces, helping create clean and controlled silicone seams during aquarium assembly and repair.
