FACTOVAL wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to browse our products, find safety information, and shop on factoval.com.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content easier to use for people who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or have motor, cognitive, or other disabilities.
What we are doing
- Using clear page structure and headings so pages work with screen readers.
- Adding text descriptions (alt text) to product and informational images.
- Making navigation, the cart, and checkout usable with a keyboard.
- Labeling form fields and showing clear error messages.
- Checking text and color contrast and not relying on color alone to give information.
- Supporting browser zoom and text resizing.
- Testing pages with automated tools and manual checks when we make changes, and fixing problems we find.
Known limitations
- Manufacturer documents: many Safety Data Sheets and technical documents on our Site are PDF files prepared by the manufacturers, and some of them may not be fully accessible. If you have trouble with a document, contact us and we will provide the information in another format, such as an accessible text version by email or by reading the key information to you by phone.
- Third-party tools: some features are provided by other companies, such as the Stripe payment form and our order-tracking tool. We choose providers that support accessibility, but we do not control their content.
