How to pick within Super Lube

  • Start with the base: PTFE synthetic grease for metal-on-metal parts, silicone grease where rubber or plastic is involved.
  • Then the package: tubes for hand application, cartridges for a grease gun, canisters for the bench, oilers and bottles for drip lubrication.
  • Same formula, different size: 21010 through 41160 are one grease, 92003, 92150 and 92016 are one silicone grease, and 51010, 51004 and 51600 are one oil.
  • Special jobs have their own SKU: 91003 for electrical and vacuum work, 93016 and 56204 for O-rings, 97008 for brakes, 98003 for heat sinks.

What is Syncolon?

Syncolon is Super Lube's trademarked name for the PTFE micro-powders it adds to many of its greases, oils and aerosols to reduce friction and wear.

Is 21030 the same grease as 41160?

Yes. Both are Super Lube Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease with Syncolon in NLGI 2; 21030 is a 3 oz tube and 41160 a 14.1 oz canister. The 21010 tube and the 21036 and 41150 cartridges hold the same formula.

How long does Super Lube keep on the shelf?

Super Lube recommends a five-year shelf life when products are stored in the original container in reasonable ambient conditions, according to its technical data sheets.
