Super Lube 21010 Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease with Syncolon, 0.5 oz Tube

Super Lube 21010 is the smallest retail size of the brand’s Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease with Syncolon®: a ½ oz tube, blister-packed. It is exactly the same NLGI grade 2 grease sold in the 3 oz tube and the 14.1 oz cartridge and canister, so you get the full formula in a size that rides in a pocket, a tackle box or a gun-cleaning kit without a half-used tube drying out in a drawer. Super Lube rates it from -45°F to 450°F (-43°C to 232°C).

Where to use it

Small jobs where a larger tube would sit unused for years: bicycle bearings, fishing reels and fishing gear, firearms, sewing machines, hinges and locks, small cams and slides, O-rings, and battery terminals. Super Lube lists guns, fishing gear, bicycles, sewing machines and dielectric battery protection among the grease’s typical uses.

How to use

1. Clean and dry the part.
2. Remove old grease of a different type first; Super Lube recommends purging other greases before switching.
3. Apply a thin film to the contact surfaces. On a bearing, fill it about 1/3 to 1/2 full and do not over-grease, which can cause heating.
4. Re-apply as necessary.

Compatibility and cautions

Super Lube describes the grease as compatible with most other greases. Do not use it in a pure oxygen environment. Read the SDS before use; it is on our technical documents page.

Choosing between sizes

The same grease comes in five formats. Besides this ½ oz tube there is the Super Lube 21030 3 oz tube for regular home and shop use (also sold as a 21030 3-pack); the 21036 3 oz cartridge for mini grease guns; and two 14.1 oz bulk sizes, the 41150 grease-gun cartridge and the 41160 canister.
