Where to use it

Food and beverage processing and packaging equipment, bearings you pack by hand, gears, slides, chains, hinges and locks, plus everything else the 21030 tube covers in larger quantity. People regreasing a stand-mixer gearbox, for example a KitchenAid® mixer, often look for an NSF H1 grease like this one. How to use

1. Clean and dry the parts, removing old grease, especially if it is a different type.
2. Take grease out with a clean tool and close the lid afterward, so the rest of the canister stays clean.
3. Pack bearings about 1/3 to 1/2 full; do not over-grease, as excess grease causes heating.
4. Re-apply on a regular schedule, and periodically clean and repack bearings with fresh grease.

Compatibility and cautions

H1 registration covers incidental contact only: wipe off excess grease and keep it out of the food itself. Super Lube rates the grease compatible with most other greases. Not for pure oxygen environments. Read the SDS before use.

Choosing between 41160 and other sizes

The 41150 cartridge holds the same 14.1 oz for grease guns. For occasional jobs, the 21030 3 oz tube is enough, and the ½ oz 21010 tube covers a single repair; for a mini grease gun, use the 21036 cartridge.
