Super Lube 56504 Silicone Oil 5000 cSt, 4 oz Bottle (Pack of 3)

This pack holds three 4 oz bottles of Super Lube 56504 Silicone Oil 5,000 cSt, the same clear, high-viscosity PDMS fluid as the single 56504 bottle. Three separate bottles make sense when the oil is used in several places at once: an instrument calibration bench plus a field kit, several ROV or underwater-camera housings on a survey or dive team, or a production line that fills damped gauges or level switches. Opening one bottle at a time also keeps the others clean.

Where to use it

Humidity-control instruments and gauges, level-monitoring equipment and level switches, underwater camera equipment, underwater robotics and ROV technology, digital display equipment, and damping uses such as dashpots, shock absorbers and timing devices.

How to use

1. Store unopened bottles in their original containers at normal room conditions; Super Lube gives a five-year recommended shelf life.
2. Clean and dry the area to be treated.
3. Apply a thin, even film, and re-apply as necessary.

Compatibility and cautions

Suitable for a wide range of rubber and plastic parts; avoid silicone rubber, which Super Lube’s O-ring fluid charts rate as not compatible. Keep silicone away from surfaces that will be painted. Read the SDS.
