Super Lube 98003 Heat Sink Compound, 3 oz Tube (Pack of 3)

This pack contains three 3 oz tubes of Super Lube 98003 Heat Sink Thermally Conductive Compound, the same paste as the single 98003 tube. It is for users who apply heat sink compound routinely or at more than one bench: electronics and amplifier repair shops, alternator and regulator rebuilders, auto-electric and marine electrical technicians, and small production runs that mount power semiconductors to heat sinks. A tube per bench saves walking across the shop mid-repair.

Where to use it

Mounting transistors, power diodes and other semiconductors; alternators, regulators and rectifiers; thermocouple wells; and processors or other heat-generating components fitted to a heat sink or chassis.

How to use

1. Keep unopened tubes capped in their original packaging; Super Lube gives a five-year recommended shelf life.
2. Clean and dry both mating surfaces.
3. Apply a thin, even layer to the base of the device case for a complete bond with the heat sink or chassis.
4. Re-apply each time a component is removed and refitted.

Compatibility and cautions

Per Super Lube, it will not react to rubber or plastic and it adheres to metal. Keep it off connector pins and contacts. Use 98003 for heat transfer and a dielectric grease such as Super Lube 91003 for moisture sealing; they are different products. Read the SDS before use.

Choosing between the 3-pack and the single tube
