Super Lube 52004 Synthetic Lightweight Oil, 4 oz Bottle

Super Lube 52004 is the 4 oz bottle of Super Lube Multi-Use Synthetic Lightweight Oil in ISO grade 68. It is a clear, light machine oil for equipment that needs a thinner oil than Super Lube’s ISO 100 51004: hydraulic and compressor systems, light and heavy-duty vacuum pumps, air line lubricators, textile and high-speed spindles, lathes, and laboratory or sensitive instruments. Super Lube rates it -40°F to 500°F (-40°C to 260°C) for continuous service.

Where to use it

Hydraulics, compressors and vacuum pumps; air line lubricators; ring-oiled and wick-fed bearings; horizontal slideways, lathes, jig bores and tracer mechanisms; grinder arbor bearings; chains, cables, pumps and motors; and food equipment that Super Lube names for this oil, including meat slicing blades, meat grinders, food mixers and conveyors.

How to use

1. Clean the area to be treated.
2. Apply the oil by drop, wick feed or lubricator, depending on the equipment.
3. For pumps, compressors and hydraulic systems, follow the equipment maker’s oil grade and fill level; 52004 is ISO 68.
4. Top up or re-apply as needed.

Compatibility and cautions

Before changing oil type in a compressor, pump or hydraulic system, drain the old oil and confirm that the manufacturer’s specified viscosity is ISO 68. Read the SDS before use.

Choosing between 52004 and 51004

Choose 52004 for lighter, faster or colder service: lower viscosity (ISO 68 vs ISO 100), a lower pour point (-54°F vs -20°F) and a clear oil whose data sheet lists no Syncolon (PTFE).
