Kroil KS132ST AeroKroil with SprayTech, 13 oz Aerosol

Kroil KS132ST is the 13 oz AeroKroil with SprayTech can from Kano Laboratories. Kano describes it as an industrial-strength penetrant that dispenses every drop, from any angle, even upside down. That makes it the Kroil can to choose for work above your head, under a lift, behind an engine or inside a cabinet, where a conventional aerosol has to stay upright. Kano lists it within its Kroil Original Penetrant family for loosening frozen metal parts.

Where to use it

Overhead fasteners, undercarriage and exhaust hardware on a cool vehicle, suspension bolts, overhead HVAC and conveyor hardware, pulley shafts, bearing mounts and equipment disassembly in tight spaces.

How to use

1. Clean loose rust and grit away from the fastener.
2. Aim at the threads and joint from whatever angle you can reach; the can does not need to be upright.
3. Allow 15 to 30 minutes to start; for heavy corrosion, re-apply and soak several hours or overnight.
4. Turn the part with steady force while it is still wet, and repeat the soak rather than forcing it.

Compatibility and cautions

Kano states its penetrants are safe on all metals. One point to know before you buy: the product-specific SDS for KS132ST describes a clear, colorless petroleum distillate formula with a different flash point from the standard AeroKroil SDS, so we do not describe it as identical to the reddish Kroil Original. If you need the standard formula, choose AeroKroil KS132. The SDS classifies KS132ST as a flammable aerosol in a pressurized container that may burst if heated, and an aspiration hazard if swallowed.
